The Cleveland Guardians have a different vibe around their team this offseason.
That is because, for the first time in a while, they have hired a new manager.
Stephen Vogt has taken over as the skipper of the Guardians and he is still trying to build his staff.
One coach he will not have available to him is bench coach DeMarlo Hale.
According to Tom Withers, Hale will be taking a job with the Toronto Blue Jays.
He has decided to take the associate manager position in Toronto.
Blue Jays have hired Guardians bench coach DeMarlo Hale as an associate manager, opening another spot on new Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt's staff.

Now Vogt has a vacant bench coach spot on his staff.
For the first-time manager, it will be interesting to see who he hires for that important role.
Does he go with someone that has more experience?
Or will he hire someone he is familiar with?
Vogt has plenty of things he will have to consider before making his decision.
The Guardians are hoping next season will be much better than last.
They have a solid roster in place, but could certainly benefit from some additions.
Vogt said all of the right things in his introductory press conference.
But, his lack of experience as a manager has some fans concerned.
The hope is that Vogt will settle into his new role and get the best out of his team.
The AL Central is not a good division.
Only the 87-win Minnesota Twins were above .500 from that division.
Cleveland is hoping to improve from their 76-win year and get back into playoff contention in 2024.
