With July approaching fast, All-Star Game voting is in full swing.
The All-Star Game will take place on Tuesday, July 19 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
We are still in the first phase of voting, but a few Cleveland Guardians players are a little behind at their respective positions.
Slugger Jose Ramirez sits just behind Rafael Devers of the Boston Red Sox at third base, while Andres Gimenez sits in third place in the second base standings, behind Jose Altuve and Santiago Espinal.
The Guardians took to Twitter yesterday to implore fans to vote for their two stars and make sure they have a chance to start in Los Angeles.
Uhhh … Looks like we got some work to do.
Both José and Andrés deserve to start in LA next month.https://t.co/97yXTZwYZL#ForTheLand | #VoteGuards pic.twitter.com/lo6bbBe2Rp

Work To Be Done
Both stars have a good chance of at least making it to the All-Star Game, but Guardians fans are going to have their work cut out for them if they want to see their two stars start the game on July 19.
The 23-year-old Gimenez is hitting .305 with seven home runs and 33 RBI in 177 at-bats, while the 29-year-old Ramirez continues to be a consistent force in the Guardians lineup, hitting for a .303 average with 16 home runs, 62 RBI, and a 1.029 OPS in 231 at-bats.
Ramirez more than likely has a better chance to start in the All-Star Game than Gimenez does, but it’s going to be hard for him to overtake Devers, the way the latter has been swinging the bat this season.
These two stars are a big reason why the Guardians are now tied atop the AL Central with the Minnesota Twins.
The Guardians are red-hot right now.
The only thing that could make things even better would be for Ramirez and Gimenez to be voted in as the starters at their respective positions.
