Spring training is right around the corner.
It seems like yesterday when the Texas Rangers were winning their first World Series title, but that was months ago.
The offseason has been slow, with many free agents available and things to be decided.
In any case, that doesn’t matter: baseball will be returning in a matter of days with pitchers and catchers reporting for spring training in Florida and Arizona.
The Cleveland Guardians will be going to Goodyear, Arizona, and fans are ecstatic about their team returning from the offseason.
Exactly when will the Guardians report?
When is the first spring training game?
Writer Zachary Martin brings us the key dates of the Guardians’ spring training slate.
“For the #Guardians: 10 Days Until Pitchers & Catchers report; 15 Days until Full Squad Practice; 19 Days until First ST Game vs Reds. Baseball is back,” he tweeted.

The Guardians’ pitchers and catchers will report no later than February 15, and just five days after that, the team will host its first full squad practice.
The first spring training game will be against the Cincinnati Reds in Arizona, as part of the Cactus League schedule.
The Guardians’ regular season will start on March 28, against the Oakland Athletics at the Coliseum.
Then, on April 8, Cleveland will have its home opener at Progressive Field vs. the Chicago White Sox.
Fans are eager to watch some of the team’s young talent to see if they can take a step forward: Brayan Rocchio, Bo Naylor, Johnathan Rodriguez, Gabriel Arias, Tyler Freeman and others will be under scrutiny.
They will join the established stars like Shane Bieber, Jose Ramirez, Andres Gimenez, Steven Kwan, Josh Naylor, Tanner Bibee, Emmauel Clase and others.
The Guardians’ camp will have lots of young players trying to win a spot.
There is nothing like healthy competition.
