The Cleveland Guardians did not have the season many of their fans hoped for.
Winning the AL Central was their main goal coming into the season, and they failed to reach it.
But, that does not mean nothing positive came from the season.
The Guardians saw two of their stars win Gold Glove awards.
Andres Gimenez won his second Gold Glove in consecutive seasons.
He continues to play like a cornerstone player.
But, the one player all Guardians fans knew deserved another Gold Glove was left fielder Steven Kwan.
The second-year player played an elite left field in Cleveland to go along with another strong season at the plate.
Just like Gimenez, this is a second consecutive Gold Glove win for Kwan.
The Guardians even released a hype video to celebrate Kwan bringing home another major award.

Kwan is only 26 years old and has played two eerily similar MLB seasons.
In his rookie year, he batted .298 with seven triples and 52 RBI.
This season he saw his average dip to .268, but still contributed seven triples with 54 RBI.
What Kwan is most known for at the plate is his ability to get on base and put the ball in play.
He has struck out 135 times in his career to go along with 132 walks.
Kwan led all left fielders in outs above average this year.
According to Statcast, his nine OAA were five more than any other left fielder.
He also had eight runs prevented, which led left fielders.
There may not have been many bright spots from this disappointing Guardians season but Kwan was one of them.
