The Cleveland Guardians have lost four series in a row and fell back to .500 with a loss on Sunday to the Seattle Mariners, and a big reason for the team’s lack of success in recent weeks has been the subpar offensive production up and down the lineup.
Cleveland has scored more than four runs in a game just once in the month of June, which has caused many fans to start clamoring for the team to call up some bats from the minors, as Cleveland’s top eight prospects are all position players, according to MLB.com’s prospect rankings.
Guardians Prospective shared on X that the team is favored to sign center-field prospect Oswaldo Bracho out of San Antonio De Los Altos, Venezuela.

Bracho is ineligible to sign until international signing day on January 15th of 2026, and not much information is readily available about him yet, though he does show a solid and mechanically sound swing at a young age.
There is still plenty of time ahead of the international signing period, but it’s nice to hear that Guardians scouts are putting in work early to find the organization’s next crop of young stars.
The Guardians have bigger issues at higher levels at the moment, having lost four consecutive series and sporting one of the league’s worst offenses.
Bracho wouldn’t help that anytime soon, but he’d be a great addition to an already deep crop of offensive talent waiting in the minors.
Keep an eye out for any updates on this situation in the coming months.
