They are looking at potential avenues to trade Shane Bieber, but might be holding out for a better return.
They need to improve the offseason and bring in more impactful, powerful hitters.
Meanwhile, they are also putting together a good opportunity to connect with fans.
Guards Fest will take place on January 20.
The team announced on Friday that more players have confirmed their presence.

Will Brennan, Steven Kwan, Brayan Rocchio, Tyler Freeman, Xzavion Curry, Juan Brito, Jhonkensy Noel, and Jose Tena have all confirmed they will be there in Cleveland next month.
They will be joining some of the team’s brightest stars: Jose Ramirez, Josh Naylor, Andres Gimenez, Triston McKenzie, Bo Naylor, and others.
According to the Guardians’ official site, fans will be able to take pictures, get autographs, and perform other recreational activities with Guardians players.
In fact, photo opportunities with J-Ram, the Naylor brothers, and Gold Glove pictures with Kwan and Gimenez are already sold out, per the information provided by the team.
Gimenez will headline a cleat design competition, and new manager Stephen Vogt will be in attendance and available to chat with fans.
It’s a good way to connect with fans in the Cleveland area and warm up for spring training, which will start in February.
