The Cleveland Cavaliers are playing in the first round of the NBA Playoffs after dominating in the regular season.
On Wednesday, they won 121-112 at the Rocket Arena in Cleveland to take a 2-0 lead as their series against the Heat goes to Miami.
To win it all, they will need support from everyone in the city, including the Cleveland Guardians.
That’s right: just as we saw stars from other sports showing their support and even hyping up the crowd in last year’s postseason run at Progressive Field, the Guardians returned the favor and were present on Wednesday night to watch the Cavs.
Steven Kwan and Jose Ramirez, plus some Cleveland Browns players, were there to witness how Donovan Mitchell put up 30 points to lead the way to a 2-0 series lead for the Cavs.
Mitchell was extremely happy to see them, and even told J-Ram he wanted to be like him.
“Donovan Mitchell said he loved seeing the Guardians and Browns players at Rocket Arena last night. “I saw Jose Ramirez behind the bench, I told him I was just trying to be like him,” Cleveland sports media personality Gabriella Kreuz posted on X.

Mitchell is a known New York Mets fan but has grown incredibly fond of the Guardians and was seen celebrating their success last year in October.
Now, Guardians players are returning the favor and showing the city is united with one goal in mind: celebrating a title.
With the Cavs, they have a really good chance.
The Guardians are not far behind and, led by Ramirez, they have the pieces in place to put together a similar run as last year.
