The Cleveland Guardians fell one series short of appearing in their first World Series since 2016.
After defeating the Detroit Tigers in the American League Division Series, the Guardians fell to the New York Yankees in the American League Championship Series in five games.
As the Guardians look ahead to the 2025 season, one Cleveland sports personality made a bold prediction as to how the Guardians will perform next year.
Bruce Drennan believes that this young and talented Guardians roster can make a deep run in the postseason in 2025.
“The Guardians, I can see winning the pennant next year,” Drennan said.
Bruce Drennan is confident the Guardians will be back.

Not only does Drennan think the Guardians will make it back to the ALCS next year, but he believes they will represent the American League in the World Series.
Drennan points out that many of the Guardians players are young and already under contract for future seasons.
The Guardians finished the 2024 regular season with a record of 92 wins and 69 losses, which was good enough for their second American League Central title in the last three years.
Drennan had previously said that the Guardians may need to add a starting pitcher, but for the most part, they are set to be competitive for the next few years.
The Guardians have not won a World Series since 1948, and they only have two World Series titles in franchise history.
With three AL Central teams making the postseason in 2024, the division appears that it will be competitive once again in 2025.
It will be interesting to see if the Guardians make any moves this offseason to add to their starting rotation ahead of spring training.
