The Cleveland Guardians are enjoying some well-deserved time off right now. They’re putting in the work to get better for the upcoming season, but this is also the time to test out some new things.
With that in mind, Brayan Rocchio has decided to sport a new look. As shown by Guardians Prospective on X, he’s now donning a mustache.

Rocchio had a bit of an up-and-down season. He lost his starting spot after securing it on Opening Day, and he looked like a prime candidate to have a long stint in the minors.
Then, he got right back on track, and while he had to slightly switch positions, he established himself as an everyday starter for Stephen Vogt’s team. While not the most proficient player at the plate, he had some big and timely hits last season, including a walk-off home run to clinch the AL Central Division.
Now, unfortunately, he might be one of the odd men out. The Guardians have a plethora of options to choose from in the middle of the infield, and he’s going to have plenty of competition for playing time.
The Guardians are expected to call up former No. 1 pick Travis Bazzana at some point in the season, and even switch-hitting prospect Angel Genao could also get the nod. That spells trouble for Rocchio and Gabriel Arias.
In the meantime, he can only focus on what he can control. That includes putting in the work at the gym and his facial hair.
