The Cleveland Guardians are one win away from moving on to the ALDS.
That didn’t sound possible just a couple of months ago.
That’s why Bo Naylor wanted to let everybody know his honest thoughts on the team and the way they’ve approached this unlikely postseason run:
“I think it’s important to just understand that we’re here for a reason. We’re here because we trust the guys that are in that clubhouse at our sides. It’s out in the field, you know, in whatever position we’re at. We know that we have all the tools to be able to go far in this game,” Naylor said.

The Guardians weren’t supposed to be here.
No team had ever come all the way back from a 15.5-game deficit to win the division.
And while it took until the very game of the year to do so, that type of resiliency proved what they’re capable of.
This has been the most resilient team in all of baseball, and it hasn’t been particularly close.
More than that, they’re pretty much playing with house money right now.
That’s not to say that they shouldn’t care about what happens from now on, but they should play like a team that doesn’t have anything to lose because that’s literally their situation.
They will take the field to face a Detroit Tigers team that has to bear the cross of blowing a historic lead in the division and that failed to close them out multiple times in the regular season.
The Guardians have to feel like they’re the better team because they are.
And even though anything can happen at this point in the season, they have been through much worse throughout the course of the entire season, and while it wasn’t always easy, they found ways to weather the storm and get to this point.
