The Cleveland Guardians finally got some offensive production from Bo Naylor.
The young catcher went 4-for-5 with an RBI double in a loss to the Atlanta Braves.
As pointed out by Tim Stebbins on X, it was the first time Naylor had four hits in a game.

This was a welcome turn of events for the 25-year-old.
He was 2-for-23 (.087) since the last time he had at least two hits in a game (Aug. 2).
This season, he’s slashing .184/.283/.368 with 28 RBIs and 27 extra-base hits in 315 plate appearances.
He’s been much better on defense lately after some hiccups behind the plate.
He has thrown out 15 runners this year, which is tied for third in the American League.
The Guardians have been patient with Naylor this season.
They still have high hopes for him, which is why they haven’t replaced him with veteran Austin Hedges, as some thought they would do.
Of course, not many catchers are known for their ability to contribute on offense, at least in terms of contact.
Then again, Naylor’s struggles at the plate have been notable, even for a catcher.
Fortunately, he’s young, and there’s a chance he will turn things around.
He’s too talented to give up on, and hopefully, he will be able to build some momentum from this performance.
