The Cleveland Guardians have enjoyed important contributions from their young players in the last three campaigns.
Even with some of those young players graduating to MLB, Cleveland still has one of the best farm systems in baseball.
Prospects specialists Baseball America ranked the ten best prospects in the organization, with a couple of surprises.

Bazzana, the No. 1 pick in the 2024 MLB Draft after a brilliant college career at Oregon State, is firmly entrenched as the best prospect on the Guardians.
His blend of contact, power, speed and plate discipline, not to mention his flawless work ethic, will take him far.
Many specialists believe that outfielder Chase DeLauter, Cleveland’s top draft pick in 2022, should come right after Bazzana.
However, Baseball America loves the upside of two lower-level prospects on the Guardians’ system: outfielder Jaison Chourio and shortstop Angel Genao.
The former is expected to start 2023 in High-A, while they latter might be ready to be tested in the high minors.
They both look like future regulars.
DeLauter, who should be ready for some MLB playing time at some point in 2025, is fourth on the list.
2023 first-round pick Ralphy Velazquez completes the top five.
Francisca is a another lower-level darling, while Brito and Cantillo could potentially have roles in the 2025 Guards.
It’s a really solid top ten, full of upside.
