The Major League Baseball season is a long grind.
We’re talking about 162 regular-season games, and it’s almost impossible to dominate from start to finish.
That’s why, while we can all agree that the Cleveland Guardians have gotten off to a slow start, it might still be way too early to sound the alarms.
At least, that’s how Tony Rizzo feels.
Talking on ESPN Cleveland’s “The Really Big Show,” the renowned pundit stated that the season is still young, and the team doesn’t need to figure things out in just one week.
.@TheRealTRizzo doesn't think it's time to panic about the Guardians but there's some warning signs…

He acknowledged that they can play a whole lot better than they’ve played so far, and he knows there are some alarming signs, but it’s still way too early to be worried.
The Guardians have gone 3-6 and have lost to some seemingly inferior teams to begin the season.
OF Jhonkensy Noel has been particularly disappointing at the start of the season.
He’s gone 1-for-16 with three strikeouts and one walk, and given how high expectations were for him entering the season, this will be a situation to watch closely.
If things weren’t bad enough, Emmanuel Clase, who was the best closer in all of baseball last season, has yet to find his groove this year as well.
Still, it’s not about how you start, but about how you finish.
There’s still more than enough time to turn things around, and hopefully, this will be the worst we’ll see of them in 2025.
