The Cleveland Guardians will head back home to Cleveland for game 3 of the American League Championship Series.
On Tuesday, the Guardians lost to the New York Yankees by a score of 6-3 to go down 2 games to 0 in the series.
The city of Cleveland loves its sports teams, which include the Guardians in baseball, the Cleveland Browns in football, and the Cleveland Cavaliers in basketball.
Analyst Bruce Drennan gave his thoughts on the team with the best chance to win a championship in Cleveland.
“This baseball team gives Cleveland fans by far the best chance to win a championship,” Drennan says.
The Guardians are our best hope at a title. #GuardsBall

The Guardians have the youngest roster in baseball, and they have a majority of their players locked in for the future.
A common knock on the Guardians and their ability to win in the postseason is their lack of power hitters in the lineup.
Many fans and baseball analysts believe that the key to winning in the postseason is hitting home runs and having a shutdown bullpen.
The Guardians have arguably the best bullpen in all of baseball, but they only have 2 players on their team who hit 20+ home runs in the 2024 regular season.
Drennan believes that if rookies Jhonkensy Noel and Kyle Manzardo continue to develop, they could join Jose Ramirez and Josh Naylor as legit power threats in the middle of the lineup.
The Guardians haven’t won a World Series since 1948, but Drennan thinks they should be contenders for the next 3 or 4 seasons.
