The Cleveland Guardians don’t have a lot of power in their lineup.
That’s why there will be a lot of pressure on Jose Ramirez going forward.
Even so, that’s not necessarily a problem, according to MLB analyst Jack O’Rourke.
Talking on “The Big Factor,” O’Rourke claimed that the star third baseman will likely increase his power output this season and the older he gets.

He believes that Ramirez will age like a fine wine, predicting that his home run numbers will only go up as the years pass.
Ramirez is coming off a strong season in 2024.
He fell just one home run shy of a 40/40 season, and there’s no reason to believe he can’t replicate that kind of success in his age-32 campaign.
Opposing pitchers could choose to pitch around him a lot because of how little offensive production they might get from other players, which could take a toll on his overall production.
The Guardians aren’t projected to fare as well as they did last season, mostly due to the absences of Josh Naylor and Andres Gimenez.
But if they can find some sort of production from the young players, Ramirez could end up taking yet another leap in the latter years of his career.
