With 2023 on the horizon, now is a good time to look back at some of the best moments of 2022.
The Cleveland Guardians had plenty of those, coming from out of nowhere to win 92 games and capture a division crown in their first year under the new name.
The Guardians fell short against the New York Yankees in the ALDS, but that didn’t take away from what truly was a fun season in Cleveland.
MLB Network recently did a countdown of the top moments from the 2022 season.
A clutch performance from Amed Rosario against the Minnesota Twins was ranked No. 4 on the list.
This was the #4 best finish of the MLB season according to MLB Network.
What a fun Guardians season, man.

Rosario Comes Up Clutch
Rosario was one of many Guardians stars to enjoy a successful 2022 season.
For much of the season, the Twins were in command in the American League Central.
But Cleveland began to chip away late in the season and ultimately ran away with the division title, thanks to moments like this.
In this game, Rosario and the Guardians were down to their final out in the bottom of the 13th inning with a runner on third base.
Rosario found a hole and slapped a 1-0 pitch up the middle to bring in the tying run.
Two innings later, Rosario came to the plate again, this time with a chance to win it.
With two down, the 27-year-old grounded one to shortstop, but Jermaine Palacios bobbled the ball and allowed the winning run to score.
Now, the Guardians will look to build off of their 2022 success and potentially advance further into the postseason in 2023.
