The Cleveland Guardians have been very active with roster moves in recent games.
Going through a tough stretch of the schedule, they are just making sure they have not only a talented roster available for each game, but also that the players are fresh and well rested.
With this in mind, they made a roster move on Wednesday ahead of the series finale against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
They sent down Nic Enright, who tossed two innings on Sunday, and are calling up right-handed reliever Andrew Walters.

Enright impressed in his MLB debut this past weekend, striking out three and not allowing any runs against the Detroit Tigers.
He overcame a cancer diagnosis and several rounds of immunotherapy to be where he is at the moment.
Regardless of his recent medical history, he is a talented pitcher who can offer solutions for the Guardians’ bullpen, so he will be back soon.
As for Walters, it’s a much-deserved promotion to the bigs.
A healthy Walters belongs in the Guardians’ bullpen, as he showed last year when he had a 0.00 ERA in 8.2 regular season frames and then allowed just a single run in three postseason innings.
He was on track to make the Opening Day roster in the spring, but a shoulder issue derailed his ramp-up process and forced Cleveland to assign him to Triple-A to open the year.
He has put up a 1.50 ERA in 12 innings for the Columbus Clippers this year and is officially healthy, locked, and loaded for another go at the majors.
He will give the bullpen a boost and will likely pitch in the finale against the Dodgers on Wednesday.
