Cleveland Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez entered Thursday’s game with 260 career home runs and 249 stolen bases.
Those are incredible numbers for a 32-year-old player.
In the tenth inning of the game against the Minnesota Twins, J-Ram hit a game-tying single and went on to steal second base afterward.
It was his 250th career theft, which puts him in elite territory.
Thousands of people have played in MLB throughout history, but only 24 have hit 250 home runs or more and stolen at least 250 bases.
Ramirez is now one of them.
After the game, Guardians reporter Tim Stebbins said that the superstar took home the base that allowed him to reach the cool milestone.

That base is his now: he stole it, and he is literally taking it home with him.
Need not to worry, though, as he made a donation to the archives: the jersey he used in the game.

Ramirez is the first player in franchise history to reach both numbers in his career.
He is also the only active player to do it and the second switch-hitter, after Carlos Beltran.
He just doesn’t know how to stop making history.
Every hit, double, home run, steal, or RBI moves Ramirez closer to another cool milestone or achievement in franchise or MLB history.
That happens when you are a gifted, special player and he most certainly is.
Ramirez isn’t just putting up hollow stats: he plays with a purpose, and in this case, he drove in the tying run, put himself in scoring position with the steal, and scored on Angel Martinez’s game-winning single.
He is the best thing that has happened to the Guardians in recent history.
