Tuesday marked the first day of full-squad workouts for the Cleveland Guardians in Goodyear, Arizona.
Everybody is present in camp, getting ready to accomplish different goals individually, but one that is common for everyone is winning the World Series.
Top prospect and No. 1 draft pick in 2024 Travis Bazzana is enjoying his first professional Spring Training.
At the moment, he is among the big leaguers as a member of the Guardians’ “depth camp” roster, per Anthony Castrovince of MLB.com.
There, Bazzana was seen working on his defense on Tuesday.

Evidently, he has some work to do before he becomes a solid, big league-caliber defensive second baseman.
That’s perfectly fine because he is still 22 years old, though.
Time is still his friend.
The glove might be his worst tool, but it’s more because the offense is so good than anything else.
After dominating at Oregon State for three years, Bazzana enjoyed a solid pro debut with the Lake County Captains of High-A in 2024.
In 27 games and 122 plate appearances, the infielder hit .238/.369/.396 with three home runs and five stolen bases.
His excellent eye at the plate allowed him to deliver a 126 wRC+.
Now that he is more familiar with the minor leagues and pro baseball, there is a good chance Bazzana will have even better numbers in 2025.
Logic indicates he should start in Double-A, and from there, everything will depend on himself.
He is the second baseman of the future in Cleveland, even if he still has to iron out some things with the glove and the bat.
