The All-MLB Awards Show took place in Las Vegas this week to hand out a handful of awards and announce the All-MLB first and second teams, but the winners of the major awards are still to be determined.
On a recent episode of “Bonus Time,” Bruce Drennan predicted that Cleveland Guardians manager Stephen Vogt will bring home one of those major awards.
In a clip shared on X, Drennan said about the American League Manager of the Year award, “I’d like to think that Vogt is going to win it. He should be a shoo-in.”

Drennan pointed out that the team won 92 games even though Shane Bieber missed nearly the entire year and Steven Kwan had two stints on the injured list, and while he praised Emmanuel Clase for the season he had, he ultimately believes he’ll fall short of Tarik Skubal in AL Cy Young voting.
Vogt had big shoes to fill when he took over for Terry Francona this year, who won AL Manager of the Year three times with Cleveland, but he checked all the boxes and looks to be this team’s new long-term solution at the spot.
The team must improve the roster this offseason, especially the starting rotation, but there is no immediate call for a new manager.
Vogt has earned the admiration of both the fanbase and the locker room, clearly demonstrating that this team respects and values its new manager.
The vibes are great in Cleveland, and hopefully, Vogt can take home his award.
