The Cleveland Guardians made a postseason run to the American League Championship Series for the first time since losing the World Series in 2016.
After winning the American League Central, the Guardians defeated the Detroit Tigers in the American League Division Series before falling to the Yankees in the ALCS.
The Guardians have a young team, and it appears like they will be contenders for the next few years.
One of their young standout players is outfielder Steven Kwan who made a big personal announcement on Friday.
According to More For You Cleveland on ‘X,’ Kwan announced that he is now engaged to be married.

Kwan is in his third year with Guardians after coming into the league with the team in 2022.
The talented leadoff hitter had another solid year in 2024 as he batted .292 with 14 home runs, 44 RBIs, and a .793 OPS.
Kwan continued his success into the postseason as he played ten games and had a .381 batting average with 16 hits in 42 at-bats.
Although the excitement for Kwan on the diamond is over for the year, he is still making big moves by getting engaged to his girlfriend Samantha Moy.
The Guardians will have their work cut out for them if they want to take home the AL Central title again in 2025 as two other AL Central teams also made the postseason in 2024.
Along with the Guardians, the Tigers and the Kansas City Royals all made the playoffs from the division.
It appears that the AL Central will be one of the best divisions in baseball, and the Guardians will try to win back-to-back titles for the first time since 2017 and 2018.
