The Cleveland Guardians overcame a 3-0 deficit to beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-3 on Sunday.
The victory gave them a series win against the best team in baseball, which is no small feat.
They keep cementing their place as the best team in the American League, as Guardians reporter Hayden Grove tweeted.
“The Guardians just won a series on the road over the best team in Major League Baseball. They are now 63-42 on the season— the best team in the American League. Cleveland needs to make a move by Tuesday evening to get themselves ready for a run,” he wrote.

Left-hander Joey Cantillo made his debut but didn’t pitch particularly well.
Still, he managed to keep his team in the game by allowing three runs in 3.1 innings.
Walks and home runs were an issue, as he gave away three of the former and two of the latter.
Fortunately for Cleveland, the bullpen and the offense bailed them out, as it has happened a number of times this season.
Cade Smith, Nick Sandlin, Tim Herrin, Hunter Gaddis, Scott Barlow, and Emmanuel Clase combined to throw 5.2 scoreless innings against a top offense to give the offense a chance.
They definitely took that chance.
The Guardians’ lineup showed off its underrated power to flip the score.
Rookie Jhonkensy Noel took Kolby Allard deep for a three-run homer that tied the game, and Steven Kwan belted his 11th home run of the season in the seventh to lift Cleveland.
The tweet has another important reminder: the Guardians need to do something before Tuesday’s trade deadline.
Their rotation could use a proven starter at the very least.
If Cleveland wants to go far this season, they need to sacrifice some of their future for 2024 help.
