Cleveland Cavaliers fans remember point guard/shooting guard Matthew Dellavedova fondly.
He played for the Cavs from 2013 until 2016 and went on an improbable, yet impressive run in the 2015 and 2016 playoffs.
The Australian was part of the first team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 deficit in the Finals to win the trophy.
What does this have to do with the Cleveland Guardians, you might ask?
Well, a lot.
Travis Bazzana, whom the Guards picked with their No. 1 pick in the MLB Draft that started on Sunday, is also Australian.
Both athletes were born in the same country and both are now associated with the same city: Cleveland.
Dellavedova already left his mark in ‘The Land’, but Bazzana is just getting started.
The Oregon State star became a part of the Guardians organization just a few hours ago and will get to experience what it’s like to play in front of some passionate fans.
Dellavedova took some time to congratulate the young hitting star via his Twitter account.
“Congrats @TBazzana!! You will love Cleveland – unbelievable fans!! #TheLand,” Dellavedova tweeted, adding an Australian flag to his message.

Bazzana will now join an organization that is ranked first in the American League heading into the All-Star break.
He just posted a 1.479 OPS for Oregon State in the last season, adding 28 home runs in just 60 games to his resume.
His offensive game is well-rounded, he can contribute on the basepaths and he is also versatile with the glove, even if he is considered a bat-first prospect.
Dellavedova certainly knows what it feels like to succeed in Cleveland, and he is probably wishing the same for the young Bazzana.
