The Cleveland Guardians are an iconic MLB franchise.
Success is not always measured in World Series titles: other things matter.
Stories, fan loyalty, memories, and how close the connection is between the team and the supporters also matter a lot.
In that regard, the Guardians are very, very popular and have lots of stories to tell, along with famous people and personalities.
One of them was John Adams.
From 1973 to 2019, Adams used to play his drum at most Guardians home games.
His loyalty was praised by fans from all teams, and he became famous all over the country for his love for the team.
He dedicated most of his life to the Guards, until he died in January of 2023.
To honor him, the team decided to rename the left field bleachers.
“The left field bleachers have been renamed in honor of late #Indians and #Guardians fan John Adams,” reporter Daryl Ruiter tweeted.

It’s an enormous gesture by the organization toward a man who loved everything about being a Guardians fan.
It’s also a way to tell his family that he still lives in the hearts of thousands of Guards fans.
Cleveland is 5-2 so far, with all games played on the road.
They are looking like true AL Central contenders, which is a huge step forward from last year.
