The Cleveland Guardians have one of the most proficient farm systems in all of baseball. More than that, they also take pride in building around the youth and giving young players a chance.
That’s why, after watching eight players make their MLB debut in this campaign, that should continue to be a trend in the foreseeable future. With that in mind, Guardians Prospective listed the top 10 prospects who are likely to make their way to the majors next season.
Cleveland #Guardians had eight players make their MLB debuts in 2025.
Players who could make their MLB debuts in 2026.
1) Chase DeLauter OF (regular season)
2) Juan Brito 2B
3) Travis Bazzana 2B
4) Daniel Espino RHP
5) Cooper Ingle C
6) Franco Aleman RHP
7) Austin Peterson RHP…— Guardians Prospective (@CleGuardPro) November 30, 2025
OF Chase DeLauter already made his MLB debut, but he didn’t play in the regular season, and fellow OF Kahlil Watson is another candidate. Infielders Juan Brito (2B), Travis Bazzana (2B), and Angel Genao (SS) are also potential candidates, with Cooper Ingle (C) and RHPs Daniel Espino, Franco Aleman, Austin Peterson, and Khal Stephen rounding up the list.
The Guardians have rarely, if ever, tried to compete with powerhouses and big-market teams in free agency. They know that their best shot at contention comes with finding and developing young players and getting veterans on short-term deals to round up the roster.
That may not be the sexiest approach to roster-building, but results speak for themselves. This team has been a playoff contender more often than not, all while keeping one of the lowest payrolls among playoff teams. Hopefully, that’s not going to change any time soon, and with so many talented players eager to make a name for themselves, this team should be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
