The Cleveland Guardians are having an important offseason activity on Saturday.
No, it doesn’t have anything to do with GM, owner, or winter meetings.
It’s a fan-oriented activity that will give them the chance to chat, take pictures, and interact with some past and present players of the Guardians.
It’s the Guards Fest, and a special person is extending the invitation to Guardians fans who want to do something different and connect with the players and the franchise on the weekend.
“You know, bro. Can’t wait to see you all and @MrLapara Saturday at Guards Fest!” the team tweeted.

The tweet has a video of Jose Ramirez, the best player on the Guardians roster, inviting people to the Fest on Saturday.
Tickets can still be acquired on the cheap.
The event will be held at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.
The activities will include player panels on the main stage, autographs, photos, and interactive games, among others.
Not only Ramirez will be present, but also Josh Naylor, Andres Gimenez, Tanner Bibee, Will Brennan, Bo Naylor, Steven Kwan, Triston McKenzie, Gavin Williams, Xzavion Curry, Gabriel Arias, Hunter Gaddis, Scott Barlow, George Valera, Myles Straw, Trevor Stephan, and Ramon Laureano, among others.
Fans will also be able to interact with some Guardians alumni, such as Chris Gimenez, Dan Otero, and even Rajai Davis.
In the meantime, the organization is still working on some potential improvements to the roster and trades.
In any case, as things stand, they should be able to be competitive in an AL Central division that should be, once again, up for grabs.
