The Cleveland Guardians have plenty of young talent in their farm system.
Nevertheless, there’s no such thing as having enough.
That’s why they will always be on the lookout for players to develop.
As shown by Guardians Prospective, Cleveland is the favorite to sign switch-hitting shortstop prospect Alexander Guzman.
Cleveland #Guardians are favorites to sign switch-hitting (SS) prospect Alexander Guzman out of San Cristobal, Dominican Republic. Guzman trains at Niche Team Academy.

Guzman is a native of the Dominican Republic and is training at Niche Team Academy.
It will be a while before the team can officially sign him, as he’s not eligible to join an MLB organization until the 2027 international signing day.
Given the Guardians’ long history of success at finding and developing middle infielders, it’s easy to understand why Guzman, just like many other young players, would be eager to join the organization.
It has taken pride in its ability to be patient and spend whatever resources are necessary to give its prospects a helping hand.
That’s the best way to keep up with bigger markets when you can’t outspend them or compete with them for the top free agents.
Hopefully, Guzman will join the long list of players the Guardians have found and turned into legitimate stars.
Following a historic comeback that led to another AL Central title, the Guardians will look to get back to the World Series for the first time since 2016 and win it for the first time since 1948.
