The Cleveland Guardians have some young players to build around.
Like all small-market MLB teams, they know they need to find and develop them to keep up with the powerhouses.
That’s why it’s good to see that middle infielder Juan Brito is getting closer to full strength.
As shown by Guardians Prospective on X, the switch-hitter is putting in some hard work during his rehab from a hamstring injury.

The 24-year-old had surgery last month and is rehabbing at the organization’s Goodyear Development Complex.
He was given an 8-12 week timeline for his recovery, so he could be back at full strength by December.
Whatever the case, he’s expected to be ready for spring training.
The Guardians have some big decisions to make regarding the middle of the infield.
Brito seems to be one of their safest bets, but they have plenty of competition for spots there.
One of Brayan Rocchio or Gabriel Arias will most likely be traded at some point, especially considering that top prospect Travis Bazzana is expected to make his MLB debut during the season.
The Guardians also have utilityman Daniel Schneemann and Angel Martinez as options.
But if Brito is healthy, he’ll likely be given a chance to become an everyday player.
