Cleveland Guardians fans are witnessing greatness right now.
Jose Ramirez continues to establish himself as one of the greatest players to ever lace them up in Guardians history, and perhaps even in baseball history overall.
That was evident again on Sunday when he drove in his 938th career run.
That helped him break a tie with franchise legend Jim Thome (937) for the second-most in franchise history.
He now trails only the legendary Earl Averill (1,084) and, barring a shocking turn of events or an unprecedented string of injuries, he should move past him at some point in the near future.

Ramirez is one of the most consistent players in all of baseball, and while he may not get as much credit as other players, you always know the type of steady production you’re going to get from him.
And with this team fighting with bones and nails to secure a spot in the postseason, having him play to his usual standards will be crucial to get the job done.
The Guardians have one of the best third basemen in baseball, and his ability to make contact and run the bases is among the best in the game as well.
Ramirez now sits close to the top spot in multiple categories in the history of the franchise.
He’s showing no signs of slowing down with age, and he keeps aging like a fine wine, so he may go down as their all-time leader in several stats once it’s all said and done.
