The Cleveland Guardians are playing their best baseball of the season.
Likewise, Jose Ramirez is also heating up at the right time.
As pointed out by Tim Stebbins on X, the Dominican superstar has been on an absolute roll since the All-Star break.
With his 22nd home run (finished the game with 23) of the season in Sunday’s game, he took his post-All-Star Game slash line all the way to .333/.441/.649 to go along with 9 RBI, four home runs, 10 walks, and just three strikeouts in 15 games.
I repeat: José Ramírez is on a heater.
2-run homer in the first. He's got 22 this season.
Since the break: .333/.441/.649, 4 homers, 9 RBIs, 10 BB and 3 K in 15 games

It’s a long shot, but it wouldn’t be crazy to think that Ramirez could legitimately be a top-two MVP candidate in the American League by the end of the season.
Aaron Judge is out with an injury, and Ramirez has been the best player in the AL not named Aaron Judge this season.
The Guardians are still trying to stay alive in the playoff picture, but they will only go as far as their superstar can take them.
They just added star rookie 1B/OF C.J. Kayfus to the mix, and if Kyle Manzardo gets more plate appearances, this team could finally put together some consistency on offense.
Losing Emmanuel Clase for the foreseeable future is clearly a big blow, but Cade Smith and Hunter Gaddis should be more than capable of holding down the fort in his absence.
And with Ramirez playing at such a high level, this team will continue to fight hard and refuse to throw the towel until the very end of the regular season.
