The Cleveland Guardians have one of the most special players in the game.
Jose Ramirez continues to post MVP-caliber numbers year in and year out, and he made even more franchise history with a recent performance.
As pointed out by Jay Hay Kid on X, Ramirez just secured his third career season with at least 20 home runs and 30 stolen bases.
He also did it in 2018 and last season.
José Ramírez secured his 3rd career 20-HR, 30-SB season tonight (2018, 2024-25), the most such seasons in Cleveland franchise history, breaking a tie with Grady Sizemore (2007-08) and Roberto Alomar (1999, 2001).

No other player in franchise history has more than two such seasons, and Ramirez broke a tie with Roberto Alomar (1999, 2001) and Grady Sizemore (2007-08).
The third baseman has everything he needs to be considered the best offensive player in franchise history.
Hopefully, he will also get an opportunity to win at least one World Series before his career ends.
Of course, that will be easier said than done, especially if the front office doesn’t make the moves it needs to surround him with the talent to succeed in the postseason.
Ramirez is arguably the best third baseman in baseball, and someone who’s almost single-handedly kept his team alive this season.
The Guardians have some big decisions to make as the trade deadline nears, and some believe they could be getting ready to move on from some of their veterans.
Fortunately, Ramirez likely isn’t going anywhere, as he’s perhaps the only truly untouchable player in the organization right now.
