The Cleveland Guardians had high hopes for Brayan Rocchio this season.
He hasn’t necessarily lived up to those expectations.
However, it seems like he’s finally catching fire.
As shown by Guardians Prospective on X, Rocchio has been on a roll over the past 11 games.
He’s gone 12-for-37 during that span (.324) with a .901 OPS.
The shortstop has five runs scored, six doubles, one home run and nine RBIs.

Rocchio was demoted to Triple-A, and sometimes a player has to take a step back to take a couple of steps forward.
He’s just 24 years old, and even Jose Ramirez was sent back to the minors at one point in his career.
Of course, that’s not to say that Rocchio will necessarily be the next Ramirez, but getting confidence back can be crucial for any player.
The Guardians have also come back to life over the past 10 games.
The offense has hit 17 home runs, which is the fourth-most during that span.
They’ve also won three out of their past four games while averaging seven runs per contest.
Rocchio is a very talented player, and the Guardians did the right thing by putting him in a position to have more at-bats and consistent playing time.
Even if this hasn’t been the season he expected to have, he could still make a strong impact when it matters most if the Guardians keep their foot on the gas and make the playoffs.
