The Cleveland Guardians are rolling right now.
Their offense is finally showing signs of life after a dreadful performance in June, and the timing is just perfect.
Hopefully, David Fry can build on the momentum he got from a recent win against the Athletics.
In the series finale, he had an RBI single in the first inning and then had a three-run double in the third to extend the Guardians’ lead.
It was the first time he drove in at least four runs in an MLB game.

In the series opener, he hit a two-run homer.
Getting Fry going for the remainder of the season could be a huge catalyst for this team.
He slashed just 149/.219/.299 in 31 games before the All-Star break, making just 73 plate appearances, most of which came against lefties.
The 29-year-old had to wait to make his season debut as he worked his way back from Tommy John surgery, and he’s going to be limited to DH the rest of the way.
He’s always excelled against left-handed pitchers, and given the Guardians’ struggles to produce runs, this is a welcome sight.
It was always going to be a long road to his former self, and while it’s still too early to say he’s back, he’s trending in the right direction.
