The Cleveland Guardians could use some help on offense.
Perhaps the answer is right in front of them.
As pointed out by Guardians Prospective on X, George Valera has turned plenty of heads in his past three rehab games.
He is 6-for-11 with one run, two doubles, one home run and four RBIs.

Not so long ago, Valera was considered to be the No. 1 prospect in the organization and one of the best prospects in the game.
He drew a lot of buzz because of his power and swing, yet his road to the majors has been full of speed bumps.
The Guardians signed him as an international free agent in 2017, and it didn’t take long before he made a name for himself in the farm system.
He looked poised to take a leap in 2021 when he dominated at High-A and Double-A with 19 home runs, 65 RBIs and 66 walks.
Unfortunately, injuries have derailed him since he made it to Triple-A.
He struggled at the plate and his batting average dropped in consecutive years, up to the point where the Guardians removed him from the 40-man roster and chose not to tender him.
The team brought him back shortly after, but he’s now recovering from another surgery.
