Fortunately for the Cleveland Guardians, one of their best players didn’t need to miss time.
Steven Kwan survived a health scare, and he was right back on the field after getting some rest.
With that in mind, the All-Star outfielder took some time to thank the fans for their strong support and love.
“We got the best fans in baseball for a reason. They’re always out here. They’re with it if we’re up or down. On a good weekend like this, I’m glad everybody’s out here,” Kwan said.

Stephen Vogt’s team has had some tough luck with outfielders this season.
Lane Thomas sustained a bone bruise in his right wrist, and top OF prospect Chase DeLauter, who was projected to make the roster at some point in the season, had to go under the knife to attend to a sports hernia injury.
That’s why the fans were ready to sound the alarms when Kwan had to be pulled in the fourth inning against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Even so, the team was quick to dismiss any structural damage, claiming that he would be fine and cleared to return in no time.
He returned to the lineup at the leadoff spot after a day off, and he picked up things right where he left them.
Kwan is fresh off going 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, one RBI, one run scored, and one stolen base in Saturday’s comeback win over the Los Angeles Angels.
So far, he’s hitting .315 with 70 hits, 20 RBI, and five home runs in 56 games this season.
