The Cleveland Guardians have found a true star to build around for years to come.
As such, it only makes sense that the fans rally together to congratulate him on a special day.
With that in mind, the team took to X to wish Parker Messick a happy 25th birthday.

Messick was one of the most pleasant surprises for this team this season.
Of course, his success wasn’t surprising, as he dominated all year long in the minors.
Then again, not many players are able to stay this poised and in command once they make it to the majors, especially in high-stakes situations.
The Guardians needed to add another arm to their rotation.
They would have to play 24 games in as many days, and with little to no margin for error, manager Stephen Vogt trusted the young hurler with that responsibility.
He didn’t disappoint in the slightest, proving to be more than ready for the challenge and looking like a veteran out there.
Now, he’s put Vogt in a bit of a predicament, but that’s a great problem to have.
Given the way he played down the stretch, there’s absolutely no doubt that he should be given a chance to make the starting rotation next season, maybe even as the No. 2 guy.
Messick’s repertoire and poise helped this team pull off one of the most epic comebacks in MLB history to storm right back and win the AL Central.
Hopefully, he’ll stay healthy and will only keep getting better.
