The Cleveland Guardians are struggling to get things going on offense.
Meanwhile, one of their top prospects is making a strong impression in the minors.
Superstar OF prospect Chase DeLauter just had his best game of the season on Sunday, recording three hits with a double, a run scored, and three RBIs.
Notably, he kept the momentum going on Tuesday night, when he drew three walks.
As pointed out by Guardians Prospective on X, DeLauter has now drawn ten walks with just eight strikeouts for the Triple-A Columbus Clippers.
To make things even more impressive, he’s now reached base safely in all 12 games he’s played at Triple-A this season.
Just recorded third walk of the game. DeLauter now has 10 walks to just 8 strikeouts with Columbus. https://t.co/Fo32guN5fE

DeLauter’s talent has never been doubted.
Unfortunately, the team’s No. 2 prospect has only been able to make 19 appearances this season because of his never-ending injury woes.
He’s split time between the Complex League and Triple-A, but he’s been on an absolute roll whenever he’s been healthy enough to perform.
His combination of plate discipline, instincts, power, contact, and insane athleticism makes him a guy worth keeping a close eye on, especially given how much the team has struggled to get any sort of production from their outfielders not named Steven Kwan.
He was always projected to earn a call-up at some point this season before a sports hernia injury potentially delayed that decision.
But if he stays healthy, the Guardians will have to strongly consider giving him an opportunity to prove his worth against top-notch competition and welcome him to The Show.
