The Cleveland Guardians made some big moves this offseason.
However, some of those moves weren’t necessarily to bolster their roster.
That’s why, once again, there doesn’t seem to be that much belief in them right now.
That’s even more evident in the latest tweet by Nick Camino of WKYC.
He showed that the Guardians currently have the second-worst odds to win the AL Central division.
They currently have +330 odds, ahead only of the struggling Chicago White Sox (+35900).
Las Vegas oddsmakers give the #Guardians the fourth-best odds to win the AL Central Division…

The Minnesota Twins (+200), Detroit Tigers (+285), and Kansas City Royals (+305) are all ahead of Stephen Vogt’s team at the moment.
Needless to say, that’s far from encouraging ahead of Spring Training.
Nevertheless, we’ve seen how off these projections can be at times.
Just two years ago, the Guardians were projected to be one of the best teams in the league, and they didn’t even make the playoffs.
Then, just when not many people thought they were a playoff-caliber team, they wound up making their way to the American League Championship Series.
There are some legitimate reasons for concern about this team.
When they parted ways with Andres Gimenez, they lost one of the best defensive infielders in the game.
Then again, their starting rotation looks slightly better, and they have the best bullpen in the game.
This team knocked on the door of an AL pennant less than a year ago, but they will have to earn a vote of confidence again in 2025.
