The vast majority of MLB teams are expected to start receiving pitchers and catchers for Spring Training between February 10-14.
The Cleveland Guardians are no exception and should be around this date, too.
Players, however, have the freedom to report well before that date.
Some of them have already been working out for weeks, even months in some cases.
This speaks volumes about their drive to succeed.
Every team loves to see that kind of work ethic and commitment, and the Guardians are obviously no different.
According to Guardians Prospective, they have had some players already reporting to the team spring training complex in Goodyear, Arizona.

Perhaps more than ever before, those who stay in shape and reach peak form around March or early April will be in a better position to have a successful campaign.
Talent alone won’t give current players the careers they want: they have to work hard to achieve their dreams and that usually means starting much earlier than before.
The Guardians are a deep, competitive team.
We are not referring to the fact they just went to the American League Championship Series: we are talking about internal competition.
In order to shine and get the most opportunities in the form of innings and at-bats, Guardians players will first have to earn their spot in camp.
Learning that several pitchers and catchers are already training in the team’s complex is ideal.
