The Cleveland Guardians are ready for one of the most important series in recent franchise history.
The American League Championship Series will determine if they advance to their first World Series since 2016 or get eliminated.
A formidable team is front of them: the New York Yankees finished the regular season with the best record in the junior circuit and represent the biggest challenge yet for the Guardians.
Cleveland, however, is also a rock-solid squad with very few weaknesses.
They are capable of beating the Yanks and it all starts on Monday night.
Manager Stephen Vogt has already revealed his lineup for Game 1 in the Bronx:
“Guardians ALCS Game 1 lineup:
1. LF Steven Kwan
2. DH David Fry
3. 3B José Ramírez
4. CF Lane Thomas
5. 1B Josh Naylor
6. RF Jhonkensy Noel
7. C Bo Naylor
8. 2B Andrés Giménez
9. SS Brayan Rocchio
SP Alex Cobb,” Guardians insider Zack Meisel posted on X.

It’s the exact same lineup he used for Game 5 of the Division Series against the Detroit Tigers.
That unit produced seven runs in a game started by Tarik Skubal.
Thomas retains his spot as the cleanup hitter as Vogt wants to take advantage of his hot hitting: he hit two crucial homers against Detroit.
Kwan will likely be a problem for Yankees pitching, as he hit over .500 in the previous round, scoring six runs and logging 11 hits in five games.
Cobb will be on the hill trying to keep a solid Yankees offense in check.
Left-hander Carlos Rodon will take the ball for the Yanks on Monday night.
