The strength and sustainability of a major league team are best represented in the quality of their prospects and minor league teams.
In the specific case of the Cleveland Guardians, it’s clear that they have a bright future.
Why? Because they have young contributors like Jhonkensy Noel, Cade Smith, Tanner Bibee and Gavin Williams already in the majors; and because there is much more help on the way if we look at their Triple-A team.
Yes, the Guardians’ Triple-A affiliate, the Columbus Clippers, is having a special year.
Their record and position in the standings says it all, but we will also take a look at some of the players there.

He also posted a picture of the complete standings, and the Clippers are dominating.
If they keep playing like this, they will surely make the postseason for the first time in five years.
With the kind of talent on the roster, it’s easy to think many of them will feed the big league roster either this year or next.
Chase DeLauter is already dominating Triple-A pitching and he doesn’t even have 10 games on the level.
Infielders Juan Brito and Angel Martinez have an enticing skillset: the latter has already made a good impression on the Guardians.
First baseman Kyle Manzardo is ready for a second chance in the bigs, and Johnathan Rodriguez, George Valera and Gabriel Arias all have amazing power skills.
Most of these players will be part of what the Guardians are building, and they all play for the amazing Clippers at the moment.
