The Cleveland Guardians wouldn’t be where they are without the leadership of some of the franchise mainstays that have gotten this team off to a roaring 42-22 start and a 4.5-game lead in the AL Central, and the team is doing what it can to make sure its players get their flowers.
In order to do that, the team’s official Twitter account has reminded fans of an important summer task they can help out with.
The Guardians have reminded fans to vote for the All-Star Game and said: “Let’s get the boys to Texas!”
Let's get the boys to Texas! 🤠
Your votes are wanted to make it happen.https://t.co/6q00zMnkGE#ForTheLand | #VoteGuards pic.twitter.com/mn3DTkbbOw

The team included Jose Ramirez, Steven Kwan, Will Brennan, and Brayan Rocchio in the post encouraging fans to get out and vote for their guys.
Ramirez is likely a lock and the only question is whether or not he’ll be a starter, but the other members of the lineup are going to need a push from the fans, as only Kwan has put up All-Star numbers, but he missed a month due to injury.
Brennan has a .653 OPS and Rocchio is at .599, while Josh Naylor is likely the other position player with the best chance of making it to Texas due to his power output, though his batting average has plummeted to .220 in recent weeks.
David Fry has an intriguing case as well as he continues to rake at the plate.
Emmanuel Clase is likely a lock to make it as the closer, while Ben Lively and Tanner Bibee are making solid cases for a bid as well.
The Guardians need your help, so get out there and vote as many times as you can.
