The Cleveland Guardians can do no wrong these days, as the team has continued to stay hot on its West Coast road trip following a 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Angels to push their win streak to eight games
After the game, catcher Bo Naylor shared a clear message about what this team is all about to put the rest of the league on notice in case they aren’t paying attention.
Bally Sports Cleveland shared a clip of Naylor’s postgame interview, and when asked about his takeaways from the game, he said, “That’s Guardians baseball. We’re always going to fight. We’re always going to try and be tough outs.”

Naylor heaped praise upon his teammates for playing hard and discussed how important it is to continue to put pressure on opposing pitchers, which they have done a great job of so far as evidenced by them having the 4th-fewest strikeouts in the league.
Naylor went 1-3 with a double and a pair of strikeouts in the 4-3 win over the Angels to raise his average for the season to .172, as he has not been a tough out as he discussed in his postgame interview.
He had an .809 OPS last season in 67 games but has yet to find much success at the dish this year and is striking out an alarming clip.
He has 50 strikeouts already, which is almost 20 more than any other full-time starter on the team.
There’s little to be down about for Guardians fans at the moment, but Naylor getting hot would add a lot more thump to this lineup.
