We admit it: we will never get tired of offseason rankings and lists.
They are such a fun way to compare stars across the league.
The Cleveland Guardians are more of a collection of quality talent with lots of upside.
They do have one superstar, though: Jose Ramirez.
He might not have the profile of a superstar, but his stats, performance, and reliability says otherwise and speaks for itself.
That’s good, because the usually shy Ramirez loves to speak with his bat, glove, and legs.
Those make him one of the most complete players in baseball, and currently the best third baseman of the circuit, according to B/R Walk-Off.

Ramirez, currently 31 years old, has been performing at a high level since 2016.
That’s the year he had 46 doubles, a .312 average, and an .825 OPS.
Then some of those doubles started turning into home runs thanks to his elite barrel control, and he now has 216 of those.
Oh, and he also has 202 stolen bases and has a good chance of retiring with 300 of both if he remains healthy.
That’s why he surpasses young talents such as Austin Riley, Gunnar Henderson, and Rafael Devers in this ranking.
Ramirez does have a dream: to win the World Series with the team he loves, the Guardians.
With a stable of talented guys with potential, their chances of achieving that goal are not zero.
They are not favorites, but things could get interesting if they make the playoffs.
