Winter Leagues are all over after the Caribbean Series ended last week.
Football season is also finished, with the Kansas City Chiefs’ shocking Super Bowl victory against the San Francisco 49ers.
What’s next?
Yes, that’s right: baseball!
The Cleveland Guardians certainly got fans excited on social media with their most recent Twitter post.
“We’re next. Stand for The Land,” was the message they showed in a short, but meaningful clip that signals the season, and especially the start of spring training, is very close.

According to Guardians insider Mandy Bell, pitchers and catchers are expected to report to the team complex in Arizona on Monday, with their first workout coming on Thursday.
Position players are expected to report to camp on the 18th, and the first full-squad workout will take place on the 20th.
We can almost hear the sound of cleats, the ball making contact with the catcher’s mitt, and smell the freshly-cut grass of the spring.
Baseball fans really have their senses all set to experience another exciting season.
For the Guardians, it’s a pivotal campaign: after finishing 92-70 and winning a playoff series in 2022, they were left out of the postseason party last year with a mediocre 76-86 record.
Lots of things went wrong in 2023: Shane Bieber and Triston McKenzie’s health, the lineup’s overall lack of power, and more.
But this year, fans are hopeful, and they are optimistic even if the lineup is still a piece or two short.
The Guardians, in a best-case scenario, are very much capable of returning to October.
