The Cleveland Guardians have one of the strongest farm systems in all of football.
As such, it only makes sense that the International signing day is one of the most important days of the year for this organization.
Of course, this season won’t be the exception to that rule.
As shown by Guardians Prospective on X, Stephen Vogt’s team has its sights set on 19 international prospects.

They’re currently leading the race to sign most of them.
Granted, that’s not to say that all of them will turn out to be superstars.
Some of them might not play a single game for the Guardians and will have to find their destiny somewhere else.
Others will never play a single game for any MLB organization.
Others will make their way to Cleveland, but they may not be stars.
But even if there’s just one of those players who winds up being a franchise-changer, it will all be worth it.
That was the case with Jose Ramirez, for instance.
A lot of things can go sideways for prospects trying to make their way to the top.
Being in the right system, working hard, being talented, and even being lucky can be huge factors, and it’s almost impossible to know how a player’s career is going to pan out at this point in their development.
But one thing’s for sure: With a player development system like the Guardians’, you just have to like their chances of finding at least one potential superstar every single year.
