The Cleveland Guardians have a true superstar leading the way.
Jose Ramirez has become much more than just an institution for the franchise.
He’s also among some MLB legends.
Analyst Luke Potosky recently shared a historic fact about the All-Star third baseman.
Ramirez now has the second-most seasons with at least 20 home runs, 20 stolen bases and 100 or fewer strikeouts (7).
That trails only Barry Bonds (10) and is more than Hank Aaron and Willie Mays (6 each).
Most Seasons with 20+ Home Runs, 20+ Stolen Bases & 100-or-fewer Strikeouts in MLB History:
1. Barry Bonds (10)
2. JOSÉ RAMÍREZ (7) 📈
T3. Hank Aaron (6)
T3. Willie Mays (6)José loves Cleveland, Cleveland loves José. 🫶#GuardsBall | @CleGuardians @MrLapara | @mlb_agent pic.twitter.com/Z3dXdv4I7K

Anytime you’re on the same list with some of the greatest players ever, you know you’re doing things the right way.
Ramirez is not showing any signs of slowing down, so he could certainly end up tying or even passing Bonds once it’s all said and done.
Multiple players have credited Ramirez for the Guardians’ epic turnaround this season.
They gushed about how he led by example and kept working hard even when things weren’t going their way.
That inspired them, and that’s what leaders do.
The Guardians will begin the playoffs by hosting the Detroit Tigers, the team they passed to win the AL Central, making history in the process.
In the best-of-3 AL Wild Card series, Ramirez will be Cleveland’s most important player and arguably the best player on either team.
Even though this is a team sport that requires a collective effort, the Guardians will go only as far as he can lead them.
