Cleveland Guardians fans can consider themselves lucky.
They have enjoyed a true franchise great for the last decade.
Despite the fact he is still in his prime at just 31 years old, we can consider Jose Ramirez one of the best and most productive players in Guardians history.
He is already there.
Not many active players have his numbers.
Those who do are upper-echelon studs.
The stats don’t lie:
“The only active players with 200+ HR and 200+ SB: Mike Trout (368 HR, 206 SB), Jose Ramirez (216 HR, 202 SB), Jose Altuve (209 HR, 293 SB),” StatMuse MLB tweeted.

Hitting 200 home runs in MLB is an amazing achievement, especially for a rather small guy like Ramirez.
Over the years, he has developed incredible barrel control and can pull his fly balls, which is quite a skill.
You can say his game power is just as impressive, if not more, than his raw power.
But he can also run very fast on the basepaths, stealing 202 bases over the course of his career.
If he stays healthy and ages gracefully, there is a chance he retires with 350-350, or perhaps more of both.
His contributions go well beyond the power and speed departments, though.
With a .279/.355/.499 line and a .854 OPS for his career, he has shown time and time again he can hit for average, get on base, and hit for power, all while offering excellent defensive skills at second base, initially, and lately at third base.
You could argue that J-Ram should have an MVP award by now, outperforming eventual winner Jose Abreu in a lot of offensive categories.
Ramirez’s value to the Guardians and to Cleveland is incalculable.
He is the single most important asset on the roster at the moment.
