The Cleveland Guardians are on a quest to shock the world during the stretch run.
They are out to prove everyone who left them for dead wrong.
On Friday night, they beat the Chicago White Sox and won their fourth straight game.
Not just that, but they have come out victorious in eight of their last nine games to reach a 60-55 record.
Cleveland sports analyst ‘Adam the Bull’ highlighted some stunning numbers and realities.
“Guardians are tied with the Yankees in the loss column (1/2 game back) for the final Wild Card spot. They were 8 games back of the Yankees 1 month ago. Guardians are 6 games back of the Tigers for the AL East title. The were 15 games back a month ago. Remarkable!!” he said via X.

It is, indeed, remarkable.
Whereas the Detroit Tigers and the New York Yankees have struggled badly in recent weeks, the Guardians are surging and letting people know they still intend to fight for a postseason spot.
Not only that, but they have already tied the Yanks in the loss column and are just half a game behind them for the last Wild Card spot in the junior circuit.
At this point, even the AL Central remains within reach for Cleveland, which got some help from rookie slugger C.J. Kayfus on Friday night.
The young players (Kayfus, Brayan Rocchio, Gabriel Arias, Bo Naylor) are playing well at the moment, Jose Ramirez is as good as ever, Gavin Williams has blossomed into an ace, and the bullpen is rock solid.
The Guardians are not only dangerous, but they are feeling unstoppable right now.
They could have a postseason spot as soon as Saturday.
