The Cleveland Guardians struggled to get much going at the plate for most of the season, especially in June.
It seems like they were saving all the power for July.
They’ve been crushing the ball over the past couple of weeks and now look like one of the strongest offenses in baseball.
“The Guardians have homered 17 times in their last 10 games, tied for the 4th-most in MLB during that span,” Cleveland Guardians On SI wrote on X.

The Guardians have scored 28 runs in their past four games, an average of 7.0 per game.
They remain in the race for an AL Wild Card, so it’s too early to give up on the season.
This team has an easy remaining schedule, and they’re doing what good teams are supposed to do, which is beat bad teams.
They desperately needed to find some offensive momentum, especially with the trade deadline looming.
The Guardians could choose to stand pat, and as they’ve shown with their recent play, they would have enough to stay competitive.
Of course, it would be better to add to their offense to make sure that they can continue to build on this momentum and not fall short in the chase for a playoff berth.
But the Guardians are finally waking up, and the rest of the American League could be in trouble.
